Bridgerton continues filming in Greenwich for series three as the cast draws attention in historical attire

This weekend in Greenwich, Bridgerton was spotted continuing to shoot for the eagerly awaited third season.

The cast of the well-known Netflix show was spotted filming the upcoming season in front of a opulent structure.

Due to their complete period attire from head to toe, they stood out in the crowd.

In full-length, elegant, high-necked dresses, several women were spotted. Their roles are currently unknown.

Their dresses featured long sleeves, ruffles, and intricately embroidered beading, and they were covered in floral decorations.

They had regal-looking updos with flowers and feathers on top of their long tresses that were swept up and piled high.

Many were carrying tiny silk bags, wearing delicate makeup palettes, and wearing gloves.

The male cast members looked dapper in their period-appropriate outfits, which featured long suit jackets and elaborate top hats.

Many of the male actors sported period-appropriate facial hair, such as thick sideburns.

The actors prepared for the following scene between takes by donning contemporary coats to fend off the chill.

On the set, horses pulling antique carriages were also spotted being ridden by footmen.

The well-liked historical drama has announced that it has resumed production following the release of the second season’s record-breaking second half in March.

By posting a picture of the episode one script to Instagram, Nicola Coughlan, who reprises her role as Penelope Featherington in the series and plays one of the lead roles, announced that filming had begun.

The Derry Girls actress shared a photo with her co-lead on-screen love interest Luke Newton [Colin Bridgerton] and has also been dropping hints about costume fittings ahead of the new series.

Colin will be the main character of the third season, which deviates from tradition by skipping the third Julia Quinn book in favor of the fourth, Romancing Mister Bridgerton.

In an interview with Variety, the new showrunner Jess Brownell confirmed that season three will jump to book four and concentrate on Colin and Penelope’s love story.

Over the course of the previous two seasons, there have been hints of a possible relationship between the two as wallflower Penelope lusted after Colin from the side of the ballroom as he took the stage.

However, Penelope overheard Colin making fun of the idea of marrying her to his friends, which put their plot in an awkward position at the end of the previous season.

“I really feel like it’s Colin and Penelope’s time,” Brownell said.

We’ve already invested because we’ve been watching both of these actors on our screens since Season 1…
