Snowboarder Scotty James discusses his frugality in the midst of living the high life with his fiancée, an F1 heiress.

Snowboarder Scotty James discusses how he maintains his balance while living the high life with his fiancée, an F1 heiress.

Scotty James has revealed how he maintains his sense of balance despite leading a lavish lifestyle.

The F1 heiress Chloe Stroll, 27, proposed to the Olympic snowboarder in November 2021, and since then they have lived increasingly opulent lives.

Since he participated in the Winter Olympics in 2010 at the age of 15, the 28-year-old is no stranger to the limelight.

Scotty acknowledged in a conversation with The Herald Sun that his Australian family does a fantastic job of keeping him grounded.

“It’s important to me to return to Australia, see everyone, and maintain contact with my friends, family, and the people who were there from the beginning,” he said.

And that really keeps me grounded, he continued.

He went on to say that despite being the youngest, his three older siblings always managed to keep him in check.

The couple threw a lavish party in Cannes in July to celebrate their engagement. Star-studded attendees included Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas, and Tommy Hilfiger.

He made light of the situation, joking that he hadn’t even realized there were celebrities there and that it was obvious that more people were aware of the party than he had anticipated.

When questioned specifically about his way of life, he responded, “I never get used to it, and I never will.

I take care to remain grounded.

Incredibly amazing things happen all the time, Scotty said, and it’s exciting and glamorous.

The most significant factor, however, was that his dream was to be the best snowboarder, and that fame and a luxurious lifestyle were simply accouterments to that dream.

He participated in the Men’s halfpipe and took home a silver medal from the 2008 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
